About COCO-MAT

COCO-MAT manufactures beds, mattresses, toppers, pillows and protective covers from natural materials. The mattresses are built according to a multi-layer layering system: firmer layers of coconut fibre provide support, while more elastic layers of natural latex adapt to the shape of the body. Metal-free mattresses are also available. Materials used include cotton, coconut fibre, natural rubber (latex), seaweed, eucalyptus, wood, horsehair, linen, down, wool, cactus and lavender. The products are certified according to OEKO-TEX Standard 100, Vegan Verified (Agni protective covers), WoolMark (100% pure new wool) and the Responsible Down Standard; wooden frames and wooden furniture come from FSC-certified forestry. The company is a member of the Sustainable Furnishings Council and, in addition to retail, serves hotel furnishing through a hospitality division. A website is available in French, English, German and Italian; via a franchise system, the range is available internationally and locally.
