About us

Coffein Compagnie is an owner-managed family business based in Bremen, specialised in the decaffeination of green coffee and the production of natural caffeine. The company processes decaffeinated and partially decaffeinated coffees using three different methods, including decaffeination with ethyl acetate and the water decaffeination process (BIO process). In addition to its own coffee refining, the company offers trading in certified coffees (Rainforest Alliance, Fairtrade, Organic) as well as contract refining. The range of services also includes coffee purchasing, logistics concepts with just-in-time doorstep delivery, food-analytical testing and quality controls by Q-Graders. The facilities in Bremen hold Kosher, Halal and IFS certifications. Customers include roasteries and the coffee industry; with locations in Vietnam, Italy, the USA and Colombia, the company is internationally positioned.
