About COFICAB Group
COFICAB was founded in 1992 in Tunisia by Hichem Elloumi and is part of the ELLOUMI Group, established in 1946. The company develops, manufactures and distributes cables and wires for the automotive industry and is a supplier to leading wiring harness manufacturers as well as most OEMs; according to its own statements, COFICAB holds over 19% of the global market share in the Automotive Cables segment. The product portfolio includes high-voltage cables for electromobility, charging cables for hybrid and electric vehicles, data cables for multimedia and connectivity applications, sensor wires for ADAS as well as miniaturized cables for weight and space reduction; customized cable adaptations are offered on request. A recent innovation combines a SiR-insulated conductor, an EMC protective braid and a flexible XLPO jacket. In addition to the automotive industry, COFICAB serves the household appliance, medical technology and distribution sectors. The company operates plants and locations in Tunisia, Morocco, Portugal, Serbia, Romania, North Macedonia, Germany, the USA, Mexico, Honduras and China; the quality management system is certified to ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
