About Colibrium Additive
Colibrium Additive – a GE Aerospace Company – is a provider of metal additive manufacturing with an integrated offering of machines, expertise, services and powders. The portfolio includes Electron Beam Powder Bed Fusion (EB-PBF) printers, which produce stress-free, dimensionally accurate parts with better material properties than casting in a vacuum using a high-power electron beam, as well as Laser Powder Bed Fusion (L-PBF) machines in multiple sizes – including one of the largest powder-bed metal additive systems in the world – for complex geometries directly from the CAD file. Through its subsidiary AP&C, highly spherical titanium, aluminum and nickel alloy powders are produced using the Advanced Plasma Atomization (APA) process; the range includes, among others, CpTi Grade 1/2, Ti-6Al-4V, Ti-6Al-2Sn-4Zr-2Mo, Ni Alloy 718/625, Al-Si7-Mg (F357), Al-Si10-Mg, CoCrMo, 316L, M300 and 17-4 PH stainless steel as well as NiTi, molybdenum, niobium and zirconium alloys. The AddWorks team offers engineering and consulting services, training (online, on-site, off-site), process optimization, machine calibration and part qualification. Industries served include Aerospace & Defense, Automotive, Dental, Energy, Industrial, Medical and Oil & Gas. The company has been wholly owned by the GE Aerospace group (NYSE: GE) since 2024 and operates a global service organization with support regions in the Americas, EMEA and APAC.
