About Collano
Collano AG is an owner-managed company based in Sempach Station in Central Switzerland and has been active in the development, production and distribution of adhesives since 1947. In 2023, the former brands nolax, Emerell and Meraxo were merged under the name Collano as a competence center for liquid adhesives. The product range includes reactive adhesives such as 1K and 2K polyurethane, 2K epoxysilane and 2K polyurea, aqueous dispersions, EVA-based hot-melt adhesives as well as fiber-reinforced hybrid adhesive films. In addition to in-house development of custom high-tech adhesives, Collano offers contract manufacturing with emulsion polymerization, solution polymerization and mixing up to high viscosities, including scale-up on pilot plants (65–160 l), filling and analytics. Customers come from industries such as construction & wood, automotive (EV batteries), security, sports, rubber, technical textiles, pipe rehabilitation, fire protection and aerospace. Production takes place at the Sempach Station site, with distribution via a network of specialized trade partners in Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Italy and Turkey.
