About coloprint tech-films
Coloprint tech-films GmbH is a medium-sized company based in Frankenthal in Rhineland-Palatinate, specializing in the trading and further processing of technical films, sheets, nonwovens and insulating sleeves. Founded in 1966, the company is a distributor and converter for renowned manufacturers such as Covestro, Exolon Group, KIMOTO and Lamina and has become the largest retailer of polycarbonate films of Covestro AG in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The service portfolio includes cutting of films into roll and sheet stock, laminating, coating, as well as the production of die-cut parts and folded parts using punch presses, rotary die cutters and cutting plotters. Projects can be handled economically from small to large series; custom cuts for small series are also realizable at short notice. The products – including Makrofol® LM, Formex™ GK, ElastoDur, Makrolon® DX as well as insulating sleeves made of Nomex®, Kapton® and Mylar® A – are characterized by properties such as flame-retardant, electrically conductive, scratch-resistant, temperature-resistant, UV-stabilized and antistatic. Customers are found in the electrical industry, the automotive industry and in light management for LED luminaires.
