About Comet
Comet AG, headquartered in Flamatt (Switzerland), develops and manufactures technologies in two core areas: RF power technology (Comet Plasma Control Technologies) with vacuum capacitors, RF generators (13 MHz to 60 MHz, 600 W to 6 kW), impedance matching networks and the Synertia RF power platform for controlling plasma processes, as well as X-ray and CT technology for non-destructive materials testing. Under the Comet Yxlon brand, industrial X-ray and CT inspection systems including CT metrology, computed laminography and data analysis solutions are developed and produced. The group employs more than 1,800 people worldwide, around 700 of them in Switzerland, and generated revenue of CHF 457 million in 2025. The public limited company is listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange (ticker COTN). Production sites are located in Switzerland, Germany, Denmark, Malaysia, China and the USA; key customer industries include the semiconductor and electronics industry, the automotive and aerospace industries, the security and battery industries as well as foundries and research laboratories.
