About CMS Austria
Compact Milling Systems GmbH (CMS Austria) is an Austrian family-owned company in Raabs an der Thaya that manufactures compact grain milling systems with a processing capacity of 8 to 86 tonnes of grain per 24 hours. The plants are delivered turnkey in 20-foot high-cube container frames, fully assembled, test-run and handed over ready for operation. The centrepiece is the patented CMS Desintegrator, a pin mill that deactivates the fat-splitting enzymes in the germ without destroying the vitamins; as a result, the germ remains intact in the milled grain and the shelf life of the flour is guaranteed for at least nine months. Milled products include wheat, rye, maize, rice, millet and sorghum; the CMS Modular System allows later expansion with additional units. In addition to production, CMS offers individual planning, feasibility studies, training and after-sales support. With an export share of 100%, the company supplies food security and rural value creation projects, including in Tanzania, Russia, Sudan and Nigeria.
