About COMPLED
COMPLED is a German company specializing in the development of tunable high-end LED solutions for plant research facilities. Based on almost ten years of research, the first prototype of the original Cropter was created in 2017 — a programmable grow light platform with a tunable spectrum, adjustable light distribution and programmable sequences. The platform is aimed at both growers and researchers and allows the light spectrum and light distribution to be flexibly adapted to different plants and growth phases. The company was founded in 2010 by Arne and Christoph, after both had been working on tunable LED grow lights together with Carsten since 2008. Since then, the development of LED solutions for Digital Horticulture has formed the core of the business. The products are developed and manufactured in Germany.
