Compound One GmbH, based in Bad Aibling, distributes engineering thermoplastics under the trade names Compamid®, Compadur®, Compoblend® and Compolon®. The product range includes polyamides (PA6, PA6.6, PA6.6/6, PA12), PBT and ABS, polycarbonate as well as polymer blends such as PC/ABS, PA/PBT, PA/ASA and PA/ABS. The materials are characterized by high strength, temperature resistance, toughness and good friction and wear behavior, among other properties. Typical applications are found in the automotive industry (engine, fuel system, lighting, housings), the electrical industry (housings, connectors, insulations), the sporting goods, optical and vehicle construction industries, and in construction. Examples of manufactured applications include a turn signal lever made of PA6 GF45 and a defroster nozzle.

Semi-crystalline polyamide with high thermal resistance and good friction and wear behavior, preferred in the automotive and electrical industries.
Polyamide 6.6 (PA6.6)
Polyamide with high strength and toughness, even at low temperatures, among other things for engine and fuel system applications.
Polyamide 6.6/6 (PA6.6/6)
Copolymer polyamide with a balanced property profile for engineering applications.
Polyamide 12 (PA12)
Durable polyamide with low water absorption for engineering applications.
PA6 with 45% glass fiber
Glass-fiber-reinforced polyamide, used e.g. for turn signal levers.
PBT and ABS
PBT offers high dimensional stability for housings and connectors; ABS can be electroplated and is suitable for interior applications in the automotive and electrical industries.
Polycarbonate (PC)
Extremely impact-resistant, can be transparent, used in vehicle construction, the electrical industry, the optical industry and construction.
