About Compuritas

Compuritas is an Austrian social business based in Graz that specialises in IT remarketing and the refurbishment of used corporate hardware. The company buys used IT hardware such as laptops, computers, monitors and accessories from companies and organisations, collects it and erases the data in a certified, GDPR-compliant process with a detailed erasure report including serial numbers. Every device is inspected, technically renewed and, if necessary, repaired in more than 40 individual steps. Devices that can no longer be used are handed over to recycling partners for material recovery. For more than ten years, Compuritas has supported companies with customised IT rollout solutions and deploys refurbished devices, among other things, in Austrian schools, NGOs and educational projects. As a Verified Social Enterprise, the company works with the public sector and thus contributes to extending the service life of IT devices and to narrowing the digital divide.
