About Concrete Global Ventures

Concrete Global Ventures Ltd. is a Canadian technology company and provider of the Heat-Activating Component System (HACS™), a printed heating element for apparel. A carbon-based conductive ink is applied directly onto textile; the resulting flexible heating panel is approximately 0.1 mm thin, contains no wires or rigid components, and follows the movement of the fabric. The company does not manufacture clothing, but supplies the complete system of heating panels in three standard sizes, snap-fit connectors and a compact rechargeable battery as a component to brands and apparel manufacturers. Integration takes place in pilot series on the partners' production lines with their equipment and personnel. HACS™ was developed through technical development, independent research with the University of Alberta, and field validation with Canadian elite winter athletes. Target markets are performance and sports apparel, wearable technology and elite sports; the company continuously invests in R&D, intellectual property and commercialization.
