About us
CONNEX is an Austrian family-owned company based in Vienna (1140), founded in 1990 by Ing. Robert Zach and today run in the second generation by Phillip Zach. The company is a distributor of electronic components from renowned manufacturers such as TE-Connectivity, Kingbright, Dremec, Sparktronic, JST, Harting and Degson. The product range includes data, power, PCB and circular connectors, LEDs, standoffs and spacer sleeves (Dremec, distributor since 1992), cable terminals, cable ties made of polyamide 6.6, heat-shrink tubing, tools, batteries and sprays for electronics (DUE-Ci, distributor since 2002). In addition to distribution, CONNEX offers customised cable assemblies in cooperation with selected manufacturing partners – including flat ribbon cable, USB, D-Sub, coax, HDMI and waterproof circular connectors M8, M12 and M22 – as well as custom production of standoffs. Standoffs are available in brass, steel, aluminium, Nirosta (stainless steel), polystyrene, Makrolon and polyamide, with wrench sizes SW 4 to SW 10 and threads M 2 to M 6. Customers come from the automotive sector, industrial electronics and medical technology; numerous items are delivered from the company's own warehouse in Vienna.
