CONSTAB Polyolefin Additives GmbH, based in Rüthen (North Rhine-Westphalia), develops and produces polyolefin-based masterbatches and compounds. These plastic granulates combine polymers with additives such as fillers, stabilizers, colorants and flame retardants, and are added to the polymer during processing by the plastics processing industry to achieve specific product properties or to color end products. In addition to developing and manufacturing its own products, the company also offers toll compounding. A pilot plant and a laboratory are available for research and development as well as customer-specific formulations. A key focus is on masterbatches for BOPP films; the products optimize barrier properties in the packaging industry, provide flame retardancy in electronics, increase durability in construction, and improve heat resistance and impact strength in the automotive industry. Agricultural films, pipes, fibers and nonwovens are also produced with CONSTAB products. The company can look back on more than 50 years of experience in the manufacture of masterbatches and compounds.
