About Contec
Contec GmbH Industrieausrüstungen is a medium-sized technology company based in Bad Honnef that has been developing and manufacturing products for industrial filtration, separation and level measurement technology since 1972. The portfolio comprises four business divisions: air and gas filtration (COGA), oil mist separators (COMS), liquid filtration (COLF) and level measurement technology (COLM). Contec became known in 1987 as the inventor of the first oil mist separator and today offers standardized products as well as customer-specific filter systems – from engineering and project-specific planning through design to manufacturing and assembly. Manufacturing takes place in Bad Honnef, among other things from stainless steel, aluminium, plastic and steel; filter elements are made of PTFE, polyamide and microfibre composite. The products are used in the energy sector, chemicals, food and beverage industry, shipbuilding, water treatment, process engineering as well as automotive and commercial vehicles. The customer base includes, among others, BASF, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, MULAG and Yanmar Schaeff.
