The Company
C-nox is a brand of CONTEC GmbH & Co. KG based in Neumünster and specializes in the design, supply, and integration of gas technical systems for the safe and environmentally sound combustion of climate-damaging residual gases. The product range includes low-temperature flares (NTO, NTV, LCN, up to 850 °C), medium-temperature flares (MT, up to 900 °C), as well as high-temperature flares and combustion chamber systems (HTV-Basic, HTV-Support, 900–1,000 °C). The systems process biogas, sewage gas, landfill gas, syngas, and hydrocarbon-loaded industrial exhaust air, meeting the requirements of TA Luft and TRAS 110/120. The portfolio also includes mobile rental flares and Vapour Combustion Units (VCU) with a destruction rate of at least 99.9% for the tank cleaning and decontamination of process plants. Manufacturing includes metalworking and construction in-house, assembly and commissioning by own technicians, as well as PLC control and connection. The company implemented reference projects for ExxonMobil (Hemsbünde Compressor Station), sewage treatment plants in Turkey, Sweden, and Mexico, among others.

Materials & Processes
Stainless Steel
Used for flare burners and as a stainless steel version of the flares, especially for temperature-stressed components.
Steel, hot-dip galvanized
Hot-dip galvanized steel serves as the structural material for HTV systems.
Ceramic Insulation
Insulates the flare pipe during high heat generation, e.g., during the combustion of biomethane.
