About Contex
Contex Hartmetall Verschleißtechnik GmbH is a family-owned company based in Mönchengladbach, established in 1980, specializing in the development and manufacture of long-lasting solutions in wear protection technology. The production range includes wear parts and spare parts for pressing, mixing, conveying, extruding and crushing, as well as tool, mold and gearbox construction and wear-resistant weld overlays. Materials used include tungsten carbide fittings, hardfacing, chilled cast iron (Tex-Cast), polyurethane (Tex-Than), stainless steel as well as the composite plates Alphachrom 7000, Betachrom BC70, SX600 and CX6000. Custom design is carried out using CAD/CAM and CNC systems; an in-house development and research department drives continuous improvement. The products are used, among others, in the asphalt, concrete, cement, energy, foundry, chemicals, refractory, conveying technology, glass, wood, recycling, bulk materials and food industries. At over 12,000 m² of production space at the headquarters in Mönchengladbach, the company supplies companies worldwide with solutions accompanied by service, maintenance, assembly and repair; the subsidiary Contex Präzisionstechnik GmbH & Co. KG complements the offering with sheet metal working and machining.
