About Contexa
Contexa SA is a Swiss company founded in 1999 and headquartered in Plan-les-Ouates near Geneva, which develops and manufactures automatic dosing systems for the F&F industry (Flavours & Fragrances). The core product is the COLIBRI volumetric simultaneous dosing technology, in which all liquid ingredients are dosed simultaneously and precisely without a scale directly into the target container. The systems are used both in creative laboratories (up to 200 ingredients on 3 m², 12+ formulas per hour) and in industrial production (260 materials on 4 m², 30 to 500+ production orders per day); the range extends from a single drop to one tonne per operation for liquids of 7 to 45 degrees. All machines are manufactured in Switzerland; more than 150 robots are installed in Europe, America, Asia and Australia, along with over 30'000 dosing syringes. With around 80 employees and a 95 % export share, Contexa supports its customers through Life Cycle Services – from project engineering to installation and commissioning to maintenance, software updates and retrofit with digital twin.
