About Continuum Innovation
Continuum Innovation is a Berlin-based company (GmbH) that develops a scalable soft-cobot platform with continuum mechanics. The continuum robot arm, which moves analogously to an elephant's trunk, expands the range of applications of classical robot arms and fundamentally changes interaction with them. Sensor-based orientation and AI-supported learning enable operation even by untrained personnel. The company targets small and medium-sized enterprises whose productivity and flexibility are to be improved through robotics automation. The first functional prototypes were produced on 3D printers. Industry classifications are automation technology, mechanical/plant engineering and Industry 4.0. The company is represented at the Adlershof Technology Park in Berlin.
