About CEC
Controlled Environments Company (CEC) was founded in 1996 to supply the emerging micro-electronics, pharmaceutical and medical device industries in Ireland. The company offers end-to-end solutions for customers in controlled environments: cleanroom fitout and furniture, supply of consumables and equipment, as well as accompanying cleanroom services such as certification, particulate and AMC testing, Protocol Services, Laundry Management and Managed MRO. The portfolio includes over 90,000 products from more than 550 direct representations of leading manufacturers, including wipes and swabs, disinfectants, ESD products, laboratory equipment, cleanroom garments and safety items. In the early 2000s, CEC built up its own technology division and develops e-solutions such as VMI systems, online portals, Kanban, vending and laundry management. Through offices in Asia, CEC secures sourcing and cost advantages in almost every product category. CEC employs hundreds of staff worldwide, with locations in seven countries and customers on three continents.
