About CTE
ControlTech Engineering AG (CTE) is a family-owned company headquartered in Liestal in the Basel-Landschaft region of northwestern Switzerland. Its team of more than 100 employees plans and implements automation solutions for production plants, including process control systems (DCS), SCADA solutions and PLC programming to standards such as S88, ISA101 and ATEX. In addition, CTE implements industrial IT infrastructures with high-availability networks, virtualization, backup and disaster recovery as well as OT security according to IEC 62443. The third pillar is data management: building data hubs, historian systems (including AVEVA PI), reporting, dashboards and data-driven process optimization with AI using its own in-house Data Science Framework. The service portfolio also includes EI&C planning, commissioning, maintenance, lifecycle management and a 24/7 on-call service. Over more than 30 years, CTE has completed more than 8,000 projects for national and international customers such as Roche, Novartis, Syngenta and dsm-firmenich, with a focus on pharmaceuticals and biotechnology, chemicals, energy and environment, food, mechanical engineering as well as transport and logistics.
