About Conzzeta

Conzzeta AG was an internationally active, diversified Swiss industrial group headquartered in Zurich and listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange (SIX: CON). The corporation, originally formed in 1912 by Jacob Schmidheiny II. from five brickyards as Zürcher Ziegeleien, diversified starting in the 1980s into foam materials, sporting goods, graphic coatings, and mechanical engineering. Through the subsidiary Suzhou Gao Tai Technology (hitech tape, Suzhou), the group manufactured and processed functional parts for the electronics industry: printing, stamping, and die-cutting processes, laminating multi-layer composite constructions, stamping presses (including shielding hoods, 2D/3D stiffeners), and rubber/elastomer molding. Materials processed included adhesive tapes, PU and acrylic foams, silicone and melamine foams, polyester and polyimide films, synthetic graphite foils, liquid metal pastes, flexible ferrites, metal foils, and conductive fabrics for applications in thermal management, EMI shielding, sealing, dampening, and labeling. Starting in 2019, the strategic focus shifted to the Bystronic sheet metal processing division; FoamPartner was sold to Recticel in 2021, and in May 2021, Conzzeta AG was dissolved and succeeded by Bystronic AG.
