About coprod
coprod Inc. is a robotics company founded in 2024 as a spinout of EPFL in Ecublens (Switzerland). It develops the co: System platform: modular robotics hardware from the co:motion (real-time motion controller), co:power (composable power supply with submodules for monitoring, pre-charging and regulation), co:sense (9-axis inertial measurement unit) and co:battery (EtherCAT-native battery packs with telemetry) lines. All modules run over a shared EtherCAT bus with distributed clocking and a centralized real-time API (C++ with Python bindings) that enables deterministic control loops in the sub-millisecond range with low jitter. In addition to the module hardware, the company offers configured custom mainboards, open-source robot designs such as a bipedal runner, and a browser-based MuJoCo/ONNX simulator. Target groups are robotics companies, research laboratories and development teams in industrial automation and deep tech.
