About COR Energy World
COR Energy World GmbH develops, produces and sells decentralized energy systems for buildings. The core product is the COR.gen combined heat and power unit: it burns Class A1 wood pellets (EN ISO 17225-2) in a fluidized bed at around 800 °C, simultaneously generating heat (3.1–10 kW, continuously modulating) and electricity (0.5–2.2 kW) via two purchased free-piston Stirling converters with linear generators. The LiFePO₄-based COR.stor battery storage offers 70 kWh of usable capacity, 15 or 30 kVA of power, and switches to island operation within typically 20 ms in the event of a power outage. The combination system COR.set (COR.gen + COR.stor) is offered with a 92.5% standard-compliant total efficiency; the COR.tainer integrates the complete system into a 10- or 20-foot ISO container and is under development. System architecture, combustion, integration and software are developed in Austria; production takes place at the R&D site in Böheimkirchen. Target groups are SMEs and commercial businesses, hotels, agriculture, nurseries, pharmacies, municipalities and residential buildings, sold via a partner network of electricians and installers.
