About CORAlliance
Corall.eco AG (CORAlliance – Coastal & Ocean Regeneration Alliance) is a bluetech company based in Zurich that develops scalable and measurable technologies for the large-scale regeneration of coral reef ecosystems. The offering comprises a patented end-to-end system: the bio-based hydrogel Coral Primer & Paint, which embeds crustose coralline algae, coral polyps and coral larvae in a nutrient-rich carrier substrate, as well as modular Living Coral Mesh systems for stabilizing degraded reef areas. Application is performed using diver-held spray lances, multi-nozzle heads and autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs). Localized mobile cultivation facilities in containerized wet labs and floating sea tanks enable site-adapted production of the components. A data-driven impact platform system with SDG-aligned monitoring as well as autonomous underwater drones equipped with cameras and hyperspectral sensors document reef condition, coral cover and biodiversity. The team brings over ten years of experience in coral restoration and unites coastal states, industry, environmental organizations, insurers and investors within a global ecosystem.

Materials & Processes
Coral Paint (bio-based hydrogel)
Nutrient-rich carrier substrate that embeds crustose coralline algae, coral polyps and coral larvae and is applied directly to prepared reef substrates.
Modular Living Coral Mesh
Mesh grids with structural reef substrate for uniform coverage, stabilization and higher survival rates in heavily degraded reef areas and rubble fields.
Bioactive Gels (application technology)
Bioactive gels applied precisely to complex reef topographies using diver-held spray lances, multi-nozzle heads or AUVs.
