About air-Q
Corant GmbH develops and produces intelligent indoor air quality measuring devices under the air-Q brand. The air analyzer captures in real time (measurement interval 1.8 seconds), among other things, particulate matter (PM1/PM2.5/PM10), carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, nitrogen dioxide, ozone, VOCs, formaldehyde, radon as well as temperature, humidity, air pressure and noise. The devices are based on a flexible hardware platform with interchangeable and expandable sensors; the in-house developed radon measuring module (scintillator with SiPM photon sensor) is patented. The technology has been developed since 2015 together with scientific partners such as Chemnitz University of Technology. The air-Q is manufactured at the plant in Leipzig, with specialized work such as PCB manufacturing and enclosure production carried out by local service providers. In addition to device sales, the company offers calibrated indoor air analyses with expert evaluation, radon orientation measurements, calibration at its own plant (DAkkS-accredited references, Sarad laboratory) and the air-Q Cloud with premium features. Fields of application are smart home and smart building, office and real estate management, educational institutions, research and industrial monitoring.

Quality & Calibration
Every air-Q undergoes a complete measurement cycle of several days at the plant with individual calibration of sensitivity and baseline. The radon modules are calibrated using reference devices (300 / 3,000 / 30,000 Bq/m³) calibrated in the DAkkS-accredited calibration laboratory Sarad.
