About CORDIAL
CORDIAL GmbH, based in Dachau near Munich, develops and sells bulk cable and assembled cables for musicians as well as for event and installation technology. The portfolio includes instrument, microphone and loudspeaker cables, Ethernet data cables of categories 5e to 7A, multicore and hybrid cables, DMX, MIDI and digital cables, powercon lines, adapters as well as loom and stagebox solutions. The assembled products are managed in five product lines (PEAK, SELECT, ECOCORD, ESSENTIALS, ELEMENTS). Production takes place in the company's own manufacturing facilities at the German headquarters as well as in Europe and China to ensure a stable supply chain. Cable assembly is carried out, among other things, with hand-soldered connectors from partners such as NEUTRIK and REAN; soldering stations at the headquarters are equipped with filter systems. Materials used include copper conductors, tinned copper wire braid, and jacket and insulation materials such as PVC, PUR, PE, TPE-V and FRNC; the ECOCORD line is PVC-free, and ECOHEMP uses a GOTS-certified hemp textile jacket. Customers include music retailers, event technology rental companies, installers as well as OEM and ProAV customers. Quality inspections are carried out at the headquarters in Dachau.

Tinned copper wire braid
Used as an overall shield to protect against alien crosstalk in Ethernet cables such as the CCAT 7A Long Run.
PVC
Classic jacket and insulation material in the conventional product range.
