About CORODUR
CORODUR Fülldraht GmbH, based in Willich, has been active in the field of wear protection for more than 25 years. The focus is on the manufacture of welding consumables for hardfacing: flux-cored wire electrodes for gasless welding, MIG/MAG and submerged arc welding, stick electrodes for wear protection and high-alloy materials, welding fluxes as well as tungsten carbide products for extreme demands. In addition, spray wires and powders for thermal spraying are offered, along with the coating of machine and structural parts as a service. Further product development takes place in the company's own test laboratory and in cooperation with universities and welding technology institutes. The products are used worldwide, among others in the steel industry and in the cement, mining, recycling, and oil and gas industries.

Materials & Processes
CORODUR WZ 50 (material no. 1.2567)
C-Cr-V-W alloyed flux-cored wire for hardfacing of hot work tool steels such as hot shears, dies, punches and forging dies.
CORODUR WZ 55 (material no. 1.2662)
Highly W-Cr-Co-V alloyed flux-cored wire for hardfacing of highly stressed heat-resistant tools and rolls in the hot zone.
CORODUR 200 K (material no. 1.4370)
Fully austenitic, work-hardening and stainless flux-cored wire for join welding on Mn hard steel and as a buffer layer prior to hardfacing.
NIFE 36 (material no. 1.3912)
Ni-Fe alloyed flux-cored wire for join and repair welding of cast iron (GG, GTS, GTW, GGG) and GGG to steel.
Work-hardening austenitic overlays
Austenitic flux-cored wires for impact- and shock-loaded parts made of manganese hard steel (Hadfield steel).
Abrasion-resistant hardfacing (e.g. CORODUR 42, 50, 51, 55)
Cr-alloyed hardfacing against grinding wear in shredder systems, conveyor screws, pumps and mixer blades.
Cobalt-based alloys (Corolit 1, 6, 6 LC, 6 HC, 12, 21, 25; DIN EN 14700)
Cobalt-based alloys with Cr and W carbides for abrasive, erosive and corrosive wear at high temperatures, e.g. steam valves and high-temperature pumps.
Nickel-based alloys (Coroloy Co, 520 W, SE 6/40, SE 12/50, SE 1/58, SE 21/35)
Nickel-based flux-cored wires for highly heat- and wear-resistant hardfacing, including dies, hot press punches and chemical apparatus engineering.
Tungsten fused carbide (COROCARB)
Products filled with tungsten fused carbide (hardness approx. 2360 HV0.4) for armouring wear parts made of steel and cast steel up to approx. 0.45 % C.
Spray wires for thermal spraying (Fe-based SP 100–SP 118Y, Ni-based SP
Fe- and Ni-based alloys for oxy-fuel flame spraying, including with tungsten fused carbide for maximum wear resistance.
Welding fluxes (COROFLUX 200, COROFLUX HL)
Agglomerated submerged arc welding fluxes for single-wire, twin-wire and strip welding, especially for hardfacing of rolls and continuous casting rollers.
