About Fanatec

Fanatec, founded in 1997 in Landshut and part of the CORSAIR family since 2024, develops high-end hardware for sim racing: direct-drive wheel bases, steering wheels, pedals, cockpits and accessories for PC and consoles. The products are developed in Germany, manufactured in Asia and distributed worldwide via Fanatec.com. The company has shaped technologies such as load-cell and Hall-effect sensors in pedals, the first modular ecosystem with quick release, and the mainstream entry of direct-drive technology. Partnerships include Porsche (since 2006), BMW M Motorsport (since 2011), F1 Esports (since 2018), WRC (since 2020) as well as Oracle Red Bull Racing, Gran Turismo and Bentley (since 2021). The German headquarters of Corsair GmbH is located in Munich.
