About Cosentino
The Cosentino Group is a global, family-owned Spanish company that produces and distributes innovative, sustainable and high-quality surfaces for architecture and design. The portfolio includes the brands Silestone®, Dekton®, Sensa by Cosentino®, Scalea® and Prexury®. Silestone is a mineral surface with reduced crystalline silica content, manufactured using Hybriq+® technology from premium minerals and at least 20 % recycled materials such as glass. Dekton is an ultra-compact technological stone, sintered from a mineral mix under pressure and heat, featuring low porosity and high resistance. Sensa offers treated natural stone with stain protection, while Scalea features natural stone varieties such as slate, basalt, Brazilian granite and travertine. Production takes place at the headquarters in Cantoria (Almería, Spain) using 100 % renewable electricity and 99 % recycled water. The company employs more than 6,000 people from 129 nations, generates revenue of €1,570 million and supplies over 100 countries – applications can be found in kitchens, bathrooms and residential as well as commercial spaces.
