About Coveris
Coveris is a European packaging manufacturer with around 3,800 employees that develops and produces flexible packaging made of plastic and paper for food, pet food, medical, Food on the Move, security & distribution, agriculture and industry. The value chain is integrated: from the extrusion of co-extruded films (including a 5-layer line in Langkampfen/Kufstein) through flexo printing, digital printing and rotogravure/gravure printing, lamination and conversion, to the processing of plastic waste into recyclates as part of the ReCover initiative. With the DuraLite product range, Coveris offers fully recyclable shrink films with up to 50% recycled content, manufactured using renewable energy in Europe. In-house laboratories and development centers (Film Science Lab, Food Science Lab, Pack Innovation Centre) support material development, shelf-life testing and downstream validation.
