Packaging, Machinery and Filling from a Single Source

CP-Citopac Technology & Packaging GmbH, based in Thamsbrück, specialises in the manufacture of plastic moulded packaging for suppositories. Around 800,000 suppository and unit-dose packages come off the line every day; each year the company produces approximately 200 million suppositories and around 20 tonnes of flat film in various film grades. In addition to the moulded packaging, the company has been developing and manufacturing complete systems for filling, cooling and sealing these packages for over 30 years. Further business areas are pharmaceutical-grade plastic films including scatter printing on UV flexo printing machines as well as certified contract manufacturing, filling and assembly of medical devices and cosmetics in small and medium batch sizes. Customers include the national and international pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries; around 50% of deliveries go to Germany, with the remainder exported to Europe and worldwide.
