CP-Pharma Handelsgesellschaft mbH is a family-owned company founded in 1977 in Burgdorf (Lower Saxony), specializing in the distribution of veterinary pharmaceuticals. The company holds more than 180 of its own marketing authorizations in Germany and offers a broad portfolio covering almost all areas of veterinary pharmacy, including antibiotics, antiparasitics, anti-inflammatory drugs, anesthetics, eye preparations as well as metabolic products and vitamins. The product range is tailored to various animal species such as dogs, cats, horses, cattle, pigs, sheep and calves. Only licensed veterinarians, animal clinics and universities are supplied; private individuals may not be supplied as recipients of prescription-only medicines. In addition to distribution, CP-Pharma offers further training, dosage tables, diagnostic and therapy schemes, and an online shop with a compounding service and a product scan function using DataMatrix or barcodes. Around 25,000 customer visits per year serve the direct exchange with veterinarians.
