About CPT Präzisionstechnik
CPT Präzisionstechnik GmbH has been manufacturing highly precise CNC components in Chemnitz since 1992 for customers from high-tech, industry and research. The core of production lies in CNC turning and milling using 3-, 4- and 5-axis processes, complemented by turn-milling, grinding, polishing, blasting, deburring, robot-based automation and 3D printing. Materials machined include steel, stainless steel, titanium, aluminium, brass, copper, bronze, plastics and special materials; difficult-to-machine materials are machined, among other methods, using cryogenic high-pressure cooling. Around 90 employees work on approximately 40 CNC machines at the roughly 10,000 m² site with production hall and administration. The range of services extends from technical consulting, component optimization and tolerance assessment to assembly, cleaning, marking and packaging, as well as coordination of surface and heat treatments. Customer industries include mechanical and plant engineering, medical and measurement technology, the semiconductor and optical industries, aerospace and sensor technology.

Quality
Since 1996, CPT has been working according to DIN EN ISO 9001. In the in-house inspection and measurement center, a ZEISS coordinate measuring machine with CALYPSO software, KEYENCE LMX measuring systems and contour measuring machines are used; depending on the component, tolerances of 2 to 3 micrometers are reliably achieved.
