About CR-3D
CR-3D develops and produces extrusion-based 3D printing solutions consisting of machines, materials and software in Cham, Bavaria – all under one roof. The company manufactures industrial 3D printers with a large build volume, IDEX technology, a QuickSwap system and its own mainboard, ranging from the compact desktop device to the industrial production system. In addition, its own filaments are produced in in-house extrusion: more than 30 specialty materials, including ESD, fiber-reinforced, flame-retardant and bio-based variants as well as carbon composites such as PLA CF10. The SliCR-3D slicer software delivers pre-built process profiles for printers and materials and enables monitoring and management of entire printer fleets. CR-3D also offers contract manufacturing, special machine building (CUSTOM) and white-label products. Customers come from industry, research, manufacturing, electronics production and medical technology; the company is a technology partner of Rheinmetall at AM Village 2026 (Mobile Smart Factory).
