About CREAL
CREAL develops light-field display technology for augmented reality. While conventional AR displays project a two-dimensional image at a fixed distance, CREAL's approach generates images with true 3D depth, allowing digital content to blend seamlessly into the real world. The technology enables a natural and eye-friendly display without visual conflicts, is compatible with prescription glasses, and is based on a transparent lens. Products include the FLCoS microdisplay C•Bast. Application areas are AR glasses and navigation support in surgery; in the context of holographic grating optics (HOE) for next-generation AR glasses, the technology is also being discussed with ZEISS.
