Createc is a company based in Friedrichshafen that develops, produces and distributes composite materials for sealing technology, pump bearing technology and medical instruments worldwide. The portfolio includes O-ring seals made from CREAFLEX® elastomers, spring-elastic PTFE seals (CREAFLON®), metal C-rings (CREALLOY®) for temperatures from +650 °C down to -250 °C, and wear-resistant composite materials such as CREALITE® and CREACOMP® (PEEK/CF) for wear rings, bearings and sealing elements in high-performance pumps. For minimally invasive surgery, Createc manufactures X-ray-transparent CFRP components and CREAMEDTEC® composite materials that can be sterilized multiple times and achieve the strength of metal at significantly lower weight. The mechanical machining of the CFRP components is carried out on computer-controlled production systems with 3D measurement. On the output side, goods receiving, quality control, metrology, packaging, shipping and warehousing are part of the value chain. Customers come from the oil and gas industry, the pharmaceutical, food and chemical industries, from power plant operators as well as from medicine and biochemistry. Since September 2023, the company has been granted a plot of 8993 m² in the industrial park at Meckenbeuren Airport; occupancy of the new site on Rita-Maiburg-Straße is planned for the end of 2026. For climate protection and environmental transparency, Createc discloses an SME CDP Score B.
