About Creative Verpackungen

Creative Verpackungen Schönherr GmbH develops and manufactures thermoformed plastic products and packaging at its Reinsberg OT Burkersdorf site. The portfolio includes deep-drawn workpiece carriers for electronics, electrical engineering, optics and automotive, lidded trays for the food industry, cake rings for bakeries and confectioneries, as well as blister hoods and hinged-lid packaging. Production takes place on modern thermoforming machines, including an Illig KMD 78 Speed, using plastics such as PET, PS, PP and PVC, with recycled material used as a priority; on request also in antistatic or conductive versions. The company offers 2D and 3D design drafts, consulting on manufacturing processes, shape and material, sample parts and ultrasonic welding. Since 2025, the management has been led by Dominik Jörg and Johannes Maier, while founder Steffen Schönherr remains associated with the company. The company is certified to ISO 9001:2015 and trains process mechanics for plastics and rubber technology.
