About crenox
crenox GmbH is a manufacturer specializing in the development, production, marketing and distribution of chemical products, with a focus on high-quality titanium dioxide (TiO2) products including associated intermediate and by-products. TiO2 has been produced at the Krefeld-Uerdingen site since 1957; after several renamings (Kerr-McGee Pigments GmbH, Tronox Pigments GmbH), the company was renamed crenox GmbH in 2010. The TiO2 products are used in paints, coatings, plastics and papers as well as in the manufacture of catalysts and electroceramic parts. Around 550 employees ensure the provision of products of consistent quality. In 2012, following a period of external administration, the company was acquired by Sachtleben Chemie GmbH (Duisburg); the site and all jobs were retained.
