About CRON Europe
CRON Europe GmbH is the wholly owned European subsidiary of Hangzhou CRON Machinery & Electronics Co. Ltd., which was founded in 1992 as a high-tech company for research and manufacturing in the prepress sector. The company develops and manufactures CTP (Computer-to-Plate) exposure systems for thermal, UV, flexo and large-format applications as well as the associated printing plates, including process-free thermal plates (Emerald Plate, Model H). As part of the 'Conventional Digital Print' (CDP) initiative, CRON delivers end-to-end solutions including plates, peripherals, processors and on-press accessories. Manufacturing takes place at the headquarters in the Xiaoshan Economic & Technological Development Zone in Hangzhou, China, according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 and with RoHS and CE certification. Through the European headquarters in Düsseldorf, support centres in China, Europe and Malaysia, CRON-ECRM LLC in the USA, and a dealer network in more than 50 countries, CRON serves printers in Europe, North and South America and Asia.
