cronologic GmbH & Co. KG, based in Frankfurt am Main, develops and manufactures custom data acquisition solutions for high-speed and high-precision signal processing. The product portfolio includes time-to-digital converters (TDC) for measuring pulse arrival times with the highest precision as well as analog-to-digital converters (ADC)/transient recorders that additionally provide analog pulse shape information such as height, width and area. Known product lines are the PCIe cards xHPTDC8-PCIe and Ndigo6G-12 with 6.4 Gsps sample rate, 12-bit resolution and 5.2 GB/s readout rate, as well as TDC modules based on TimeTagger technology and Ndigo-Crate systems. Several measurement cards can be synchronized — up to six cards for applications with high channel counts. A platform-based approach enables fast OEM adaptations and custom designs for customers requiring corresponding volumes. The products are used, among other things, in mass spectrometry (TOF-MS), optical coherence tomography (OCT), fluorescence lifetime imaging microscopy (FLIM), TCSPC, quantum key distribution (QKD), quantum computing and quantum sensing, as well as NIRS/fNIRS.
