About Crossbridge Energy
Crossbridge Energy A/S operates the refinery in Fredericia, Denmark, and produces liquid fuels such as gasoline, diesel and Jet A-1 (kerosene). The plant, commissioned in 1966, covers around 35 % of Denmark's demand for liquid fuels; an equally large volume is exported via the Fredericia port terminal. The company has belonged to Crossbridge Energy Partners (Postlane Partners) since 2021 and employs around 300 permanent staff. The refinery is one of the most energy-efficient in Europe: process waste heat is supplied as district heating to more than 115,000 homes in the Trekantområdet region. Together with Everfuel, Crossbridge operates the 20 MW HySynergy I electrolysis plant, which has been feeding green hydrogen into the refining processes since February 2025; an expansion to 300 MW is planned. In addition, the company develops advanced biofuels through co-processing of sustainable feedstocks.
