About Crous LED
Crous LED is a brand of Crous Chemicals GmbH, headquartered in Fulenbach, Switzerland, and part of the Crous Group, a Swiss family business founded in 1992 by Julian Crous. The company specialises in the development and supply of LED lighting solutions for the demanding requirements of the railway sector. The product range includes rail-suitable LED tubes in the sizes T8, T5, T8/T5e and T6/T5e as well as the variants T8 ECO, T8 DW and T8 NF, LED stripes for accent lighting and pathway marking, and LED spots with various bases (including MR11, MR16, GU4, GU5,3, BA9, BA15, BA22, 2G7, 2G11, GX24q). The products are designed for plug-and-play retrofitting of conventional fluorescent tubes, with internally integrated driver electronics, reverse-polarity, overvoltage and undervoltage protection, and standard LEDs with CRI>90. Energy savings of up to 35–40 % and the elimination of mercury reflect the company's environmental commitment. Fields of application include passenger and freight transport, urban rail transport, buses and public buildings. In addition to Fulenbach, the Crous Group maintains a site in Rheinbach, Germany, with Crous Rail Service.
