Why Crowdify

Crowdify GmbH operates crowdify.net, a trilingual (German, French, English) crowdfunding platform headquartered in Zurich. Project initiators from fields such as social projects, culture and art, start-ups, crafts as well as technology and science can present their projects and have them funded by many individual supporters (boosters). The platform is GDPR-compliant, enables payments via TWINT, credit card, PayPal and PostFinance through payment service provider RaiseNow, and allows donations without login. Social projects and non-profit organisations use the platform free of charge; upon successful funding, a fee of 9% incl. VAT applies (11% with the staged option). Support is provided through personal support, tips and tools, an AI Crowd Checker for potential analysis, and AI-assisted project drafting. Reach is generated, among other things, through the partner newsletter Ron Orp. As of today, the website lists 3'831 projects with a total of 23'976'473 CHF in boosts and 159'212 boosters.

Fees & Terms

After a project is successfully funded, Crowdify charges a fee of 9% incl. VAT incl. payment provider fees (11% with the staged option); social projects are completely free of charge, Ukraine projects (standwithukraine) are exempt from commission (max. 3% payment provider costs). According to the website, the success rate is 65% for social projects and 78% for culture & art.
