About CRYSTALYX
CRYSTALYX Products GmbH produces and distributes high-quality lick supplements for cattle, sheep and goats, pigs and horses. The products are the first lick blocks based on dehydrated molasses; for over 25 years the company has been working on the continuous improvement of the formulations and production processes. Thanks to the patented manufacturing process – a cooking process without press pressure and without chemical hardening agents – all CRYSTALYX products achieve a dry matter content of at least 95 percent. Chemical hardening agents, fillers and cereal components are deliberately avoided. The product range comprises conventional lines (including Extra Energy, Precalver, Nutri Complete, Energy Booster, Mentholyx, Calflyx, Garlyx, Rumilyx) as well as the organic Organyx line for organic farming. Production takes place at the Oldenburg site, with headquarters and sales in Münster. Distribution is via retailers as well as the company's own online shop.

Dehydrated (dewatered) molasses
Provides energy in the form of sugar in a palatable and rapidly available form and is the basis of all products.
Vegetable oil / rumen-stable fatty acids
Provides the most concentrated form of energy of all feedstuffs and increases the energy concentration of the product.
Feed-grade urea
Used in some products to improve the utilisation of plant crude fibre.
Sugar esters
Formed in the patented cooking process from sugar and organic fatty acids and reduce foaming.
Live yeast
Stabilises rumen metabolism in special products such as Rumilyx, e.g. during heat stress or acidosis.
Yeast cell wall components (MOS)
Support the binding of toxins and pathogens in the gut as well as the immune system.
Butyrates
Most important energy source for the development of rumen tissue in calves (Calflyx).
Essential oils (menthol, eucalyptus, garlic, oregano)
Support the respiratory tract, defence mechanisms and the gut-associated immune system.
Lignocellulose / crude fibre
In the pig product Piglyx Fibre as a fibre-rich, organic activity material to support gut health.
