About CS Additive
Since 1976, CS Additive GmbH has been producing high-quality raw materials for industrial applications and, with its carbon plant in Brüggen, ranks among the most capable manufacturers of carbon pellets in Europe. The core product CARBOLUX is a graphitic carburizer based on highly pure graphite powders, produced from natural graphite, synthetic graphites, petroleum coke, pitch coke, anthracite and electrode scrap in mixing, pelletizing and drying plants. The virtually sulfur- and nitrogen-free graphite pellets are used worldwide for the production of spheroidal, vermicular and grey cast iron as well as nitrogen-sensitive, highly carburized steels. In addition, the company offers customised special carbon products such as covering agents for non-ferrous metal casting alloys and graphites as lubricants for rolling mills and die forging. Customers include steel mills, iron foundries, the brake lining industry as well as rolling mills and forging operations. Since 2025, CS Additive has been part of the multinational Unimetal Group.

Quality
In its own laboratory, raw materials and end products are tested for chemical purity, particle size distribution (laser diffraction), BET surface area and other parameters – from raw material intake to delivery. The company has been certified to DIN EN ISO 9001 since March 1993.
