SONNENSTROMFABRIK (CS Wismar GmbH) is a German manufacturer of photovoltaic modules with headquarters and production in Wismar. The company has been producing solar modules in Europe for more than 25 years and serves different applications with the DIAMOND (glass/glass) and SAPPHIRE (glass/foil) series as well as roof-integrated modules. The modules are produced using modern half-cut cell technology, and in the case of the Professional glass/glass series, with back contact technology. The material basis is silicon solar cells, glass, backsheet films and, in cooperation with Oxford PV, perovskite. Production follows CO2-optimized processes with regular audits and supplier audits. The sales countries include Germany, France, the Benelux countries and Italy; sales are made via wholesale and installation partners.
