Pollutants & methods
Asbestos
Found, among other things, in window sills, pipe and heating insulation, flanges and gaskets, and is removed as hard or soft asbestos under negative pressure.
Chrysotile
Serpentine asbestos variety, the most common component of asbestos-containing products.
Amosite
Amphibole asbestos variety, found in sprayed asbestos and weakly bound products.
Crocidolite
Blue amphibole asbestos, particularly respirable and hazardous to health.
Dry ice (CO2)
Non-abrasive, residue-free blasting medium at -78.5 °C for gentle cleaning of wood, circuit boards and surfaces.
PCB/PCP in joint sealants
Joint sealants (FDM) are removed under negative pressure with K1 extraction; adjacent joint flanks are coated or removed and resealed.
Mould spores/mycelium
Infested wallpaper, plaster and wood are removed with a safety margin, disinfected and rebuilt with mineral materials.
