About CT LAB
CT LAB (PTY) LTD is a South African technology company founded in 1993 and headquartered in Stellenbosch, which develops, manufactures and supports power quality monitoring systems. Its core product is the VECTO System, consisting of a cloud-based big data platform (VECTO Grid OS) and a fleet of decentralized, edge-computing-based measurement and control devices such as the VECTO 3, a multifunctional power quality analyser certified to IEC 61000-4-30 Class A Ed. 3 with synchronised waveform measurements. The system evaluates over 9,000 electrical parameters in near real time and delivers standards-compliant, time-synchronised information across the entire electricity distribution network. CT LAB also operates one of the largest grid performance data stores with over 1,200 devices from more than 65 customers over a period of more than ten years, and offers training, technical and IT support as well as product customisation. Customers come from the power supply, industrial, mining, railway power networks and renewable energy sectors. In addition to its headquarters in Stellenbosch, the company maintains contact offices in Stuttgart (Germany) and Mill Park (Australia) and distributes its products worldwide through distribution partners.
