About CTB Automatisierungstechnik
CTB Automatisierungstechnik GmbH was founded in 1992 in Lebring (Styria) and develops, manufactures and supports automation solutions for industrial plants, biogas plants, biomass firing systems and district heating networks. The service portfolio includes electrical engineering with Eplan Electric P8, control cabinet and switchgear construction to EN 61439 up to 4,000 A (including UL 508A versions), PLC programming on Siemens, B&R, Beckhoff, Schneider and Rockwell as well as HMI/SCADA visualization. In-house developments are the MFR-Compact heating controller (installed more than 10,000 times) and the PEGASUS SCADA platform for fleet management of district heating networks; heat transfer stations are manufactured in power classes from 15 kW to 5 MW. Production takes place in the company's own workshop in Lebring using Rittal enclosure technology, including unit testing according to EN 61439-2 and factory FAT. With more than 1,500 plants in over 25 countries — from Austria and Germany to Canada and South Korea — CTB supports projects beyond commissioning with maintenance, VPN remote maintenance, retrofit and spare parts management. The 25–50-strong in-house team combines electrical engineers, control cabinet builders, software and commissioning specialists.
